First Aid Training

First Aid Training is a course that provides everyday people with the knowledge and skills to respond to a medical emergency until more qualified help arrives such as a paramedic/emergency medical service. These minutes can be critical and make the difference between life and death, or full recovery versus permanent damage.

A First Aid Training Course involves learning how to assess and respond to a first aid situation.

You will learn practical first aid techniques such as CPR and the recovery position. You will also learn how to deal with someone who is unresponsive. Other skills you will learn include how to examine a casualty, use a defibrillator, and learn how to control bleeding and trauma such as broken bones. Finally you will learn when it is appropriate to contact the emergency services.

First aiders should hold a nationally recognised certificate from a registered training organisation. Regular training updates are essential to keep their knowledge current. There are many different levels of First Aid Training, choose the right one for you and your business.

Safety For offer many levels of First Aid Training courses the first being a one day Emergency First Aid at Work course on the 10th of June. Please feel free to contact us to book this or any other First Aid Courses we can provide, by browsing our website.

Remember, having well-trained first aiders can make a big difference in emergency situations, ensuring prompt and effective assistance when needed.
